The Dagipoli Dance Company (link in Greek) and the non-profit organisation Bridge of Life (link in Greek) have invited theater and dance groups from various European countries to Athens to perform in the city’s first European arts and disability festival.

Like the artist groups invited, the Dagipoli Dance Company consists of dancers with and without physical disabilities. They have previously performed at major venues such as the famous Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron) in Athens, at Teatro Piccolo in Milan and at the Kennedy Center in Washington. Through their performances, they aim to explore the human body, soul and imagination.

The two-day festival, which will take place at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, will include performances and workshops, as well as a symposium where international academics, actors, journalists and politicians are set to participate.
