The latest Hotels.com® Hotel Price Index™) includes Greece on its list of top picks for American travelers interested in spending their tax refund on experiences rather than tangible goods.
Greece, in particular represents a great choice for Americans, bearing in mind that the U.S. Dollar has gone from strength to strength in 2015. The average tax return in the United States is $2,800, according to Kansas-City based tax service provider H&R Block.
 
Taking into account the tax refund that Americans have at their disposal, affordable travel offers were gathered so that Americans can stretch their dollar further without breaking the budget.
