Greek Actor Will Run From Greece to Glasgow for COP26

Modern-day Pheidippides, actor-activist Agis Emmanouil will embark on an epic 2,241 km run across Europe to raise awareness of climate change.


A Greek ultra-marathon runner and actor is set to run across Europe to raise the profile of the COP26 environmental conference being held in Glasgow this November. 

Supported by the Actors Union of Greece, Agis Emmanouil will undertake the staggering 2,241 kilometer journey accompanied by various ultra runners from the countries he will cross.

 

Emmanouil has launched a fundraising page to enable him to support local environmental projects in the six countries he will run through, arriving in Glasgow for the opening of the COP26 conference on November 1, 2021.
