For the third year in a row, Greece was named “Favorite Country” by the The Trazee awards. Trazee Travel, Global Traveler’s sister web publication, is the resource for travelers aged 25–40 for tips, reviews and the latest travel trends. 

Greece was selected as “Favorite Country” because “it is a pioneer in the tourism industry and a favorite country for millennial travelers, who are the world’s most sought-after audience.”

The results of the awards per category are annually based on an online reader’s survey, which this year was conducted between December 14 and May 1. Readers selected their favorites in the world of travel during the voting period. The official ceremony for The Trazees will take place on August 16 in San Diego, USA, during the Global Business Travel Association conference and the Greek award will be received by the Director of the US & Canada branch of the Greek National Tourism Organization, Konstantinos Harokopos.
