Watch: Greece’s Song Ready for Eurovision Final

Viewers loved the Greek contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest, which was performed at the first semi-finals last night.


Amanda Georgiadi secured Greece a spot in the 66th Eurovision Song Contest, at the semifinals on Tuesday. The grand final will take place on Saturday, at the to take place at the Pala Olimpico in the Italian city of Turin.

The ballad “Die Together” has been described by the Greek-Norwegian singer and songwriter as an “anthem of absolute love,” and while the lyrics could be interpreted as tragic, viewers predict success for the song. Commenters on Youtube said:

A 25-year-old medical student, Georgiadi hails from the city of Ioannina, but has lived most her life in Tenfjord, Norway, where she’s adopted the stage name “Amanda Tenfjord.”
