UK vacationers in Crete are no longer required to self-isolate upon returning home.
The British government added the island of Crete to its list of safe destinations on Thursday.
The move is expected to help bolster tourism and to encourage business travelers and Britons with holiday homes on the Greek island to visit.
The designation means that travelers returning to the UK from Crete will no longer have to self-isolate for 14 days.
