Paros is among the best honeymoon destinations, according to the travel website The Points Guy. The site recently published a list of 11 places that are ideal for newlyweds to visit and apart from Paros, Santorini is also on this list.

This is an important distinction because, along with Paros and Santorini, the list includes the Maldives, Hawaii and other exotic destinations.

Wedding tourism is estimated to generate many millions of dollars annually. According to studies, one in four couples in the world seek a destination outside their home area to organize their wedding.

Wedding planners are constantly looking for the best destinations, unique products, best services and experiences for their customers. The coronavirus pandemic has had a serious impact on the wedding tourism industry, cancelling events for almost two years. Many weddings were canceled and 2022 is expected to be the year of the industry’s recovery.
