A Mykonos hotel appears on Forbes list of luxury hotel worth visiting in 2022.

The hotel is a newcomer on the list and the only Greek hotel named at Forbes’ Star Awards 2022, at which thousands of hotels, 179 restaurants and around 300 spas all over the world were ranked.

The hotel awarded in the category featuring the 323 best five-star hotels was Katikies, referred to as a “hillside refuge in Greece’s famed party island.” The hotel, which opened its doors in 2018, is located in the Aghios Ioannis bay. As also highlighted by Forbes, the color palette of the hotel is white and blue, matching the color of the sea onto which its visitors gaze.

The balconies of the 35 rooms face the sea and the island of Delos, and most have their own pool. There are also two shared pools, one with seawater and one sand-bottomed rooftop pool.

Katikies also boasts a spa and two restaurants. Worth noting is that children are welcome only from the age of 13 and up. As noted by the magazine, this hotel is suitable for those looking to enjoy calm and the beauty of the island, and not so much for those looking for wild parties.
