Ryanair Adds Flights to Greece in October

Budget airline Ryanair will boost its service in the fall, adding another 100,000 seats on flights from London Stansted to Greece and other destinations.

Ryanair is boosting its autumn schedule from London Stansted by 500 flights in a bid to win back passengers after Heathrow extended its restrictions on the number of travellers.

The extra flights will give Ryanair another 100,000 seats during the UK school autumn holidays to destinations including Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece, according to Bloomberg.

Yesterday, Heathrow Airport extended its 100,000 passenger departures cap until October 29 as it tries to curb flight delays and cancellations caused by handling shortages.

Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said Heathrow had “no hope,” while he assured that both his company and Stansted had enough staff to handle the extra flights.
