Santorini’s Underwater Kolumbo Volcano Under Observation

The most-active submarine Mediterranean volcano, Kolumbo, is located 7 km NE of Santorini. Scientists are deploying an advanced suite of underwater sensors and remotely-operated vehicles to put Kolumbo under close observation.
