Designer: Effy Papaioannides

History: Effy was born and raised in Athens. She graduated from Emerson University in Boston and worked as senior executive at prestigious multinationals. She followed her passion for fashion in 2003 with the launch of “Any Wish?” a label she co-founded with a friend and which was a hit among women fashion insiders across the country. After the birth of her two children, the experienced designer was inspired for the creation of Miss Flamingo, a children’s wear and accessories brand which soon became very popular among modern fashionistas – mothers or not – looking for out-of-the-ordinary Greek quality products for young princes and princesses.

Brand Philosophy: Miss Flamingo children’s clothing is designed on children’s terms so they can express their creativity and personality through their clothing and accessories. With unique patterns and fabrics, Miss Flamingo designs and produces in our beautiful country, Greece.

Personal Style Trademark: For the SS15 collection I made a Miss Flamingo “Kiss & Love” dress, an easy, lightweight summer dress with the Miss Flamingo signature printed on flamingo fabric – beautiful, playful and one-of-a-kind!

The best souvenir I’ve brought home recently:  For my house, a blue charm shaped like a round eye. Always have something blue; it emanates good energy.
