Mouratoglou Tennis Academy Opening in Greece at Costa Navarino

The world famous tennis academy opens a new center at the luxury hotel and residential resort in the southwest Peloponnese.

The renowned tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou recently announced his decision to expand his famous tennis academy with new facilities in Greece.

The luxury Costa Navarino resort will be home to the new tennis center, which will offer a variety of programs and training experiences, including private and group lessons, tennis camps for both adult and junior players, and the signature Mouratoglou Academy programs. These will be available for Costa Navarino guests as well as for professional groups.

The Mouratoglou Tennis Academy will be located in the Navarino Dunes Area, and will include 16 tennis courts equivalent in quality to the world’s leading tennis courts.

Tennis superstar Stefanos Tsitsipas, mentored by Mouratoglou and currently ranked fifth in the ATP World Singles standings, says: “As a Greek citizen, I was delighted to hear from Patrick about the opening of the center. We both share a deep connection to Greece, and I have no doubt that this new project will be just as much of a success as his academy in France, which I have been a part of since I was 16 years old. I hope it encourages the development of tennis in Greece, and Im already looking forward to visiting the center.”

Who is Patrick Mouratoglou?

Born in 1970 in France to a Greek father and a French mother, Patrick Mouratoglou has coached some of the world’s finest tennis players, including Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas, Coco Gauff, Grigor Dimitrov and Marcos Baghdatis, and is currently coaching 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams. The “Dynamic Duo,” as people are fond of calling the Mouratoglou-Williams team, is continuing its work together after nine years of success.

Founded in 1996, Mouratoglou’s tennis academy is now one of the world’s most successful tennis academies. On the occasion of the Mouratoglou Academy’s 25th anniversary celebration, Mouratoglou is partnering with Costa Navarino, Europe’s prime sustainable destination, for his first collaboration in Greece.

Concerning this project, Mouratoglou said: “Costa Navarino is an exceptional destination to visit, as well as a great place to live, which attracts a like-minded community of individuals, thanks to the quality of the facilities, its geographical location, and the quality of its services. To be able to implement a top tennis experience in this incredible location with the same level of expertise is amazing, and a project I am very excited about.”
