The exhibition claims through the art of photography to highlight the beauty of pop culture and traditional art, seen in a modern context, having as a central topic the local costumes around Greece.

Michael Pappas has traveled throughout Greece to capture with his camera lenses the traditional dresses and the natural environment that gave birth to the local traditions of different regions. “The natural and cultural environment is the background that is associated with the ‘costumes’ while the protagonists are always the people”, Michael Pappas mentions at his website.

Members of the traditional dances group of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women will attend the opening night and will present dances from various Greek regions.
